Solomon Birdsall was born Aug 4, 1776 in Chappaqua, New Castle, Westchester, NY and married Charity Carpenter about 1798 in Yorktown, NY. Solomon died on May 16, 1838 in Waterborough, Queens, New Brunswick, Canada.

Per The Birdsall Family, 1982, note 138:

Mrs. Jenifer Gensler, 46 Cedar Lane, Scotia, NY sent a xerox copy of the signatures on the back of the marriage certificate of Asa Marshall and Mary Birdsall, dated Nov 19, 1823. Nearly all the Birdsalls have been identified. There are also six Carpenters, three Sarles, two Griffins, two Fowlers and Miriam Kipp, Ann Dodge, Elias Q. Horton, James Hunter, James Haight, Sarah Waters, John Palmer, Abram Purdy and Samuel Halstead. The wedding took place on the Solomon Birdsall farm (Mary’s father) Yorktown, N.Y.

Familysearch.org also lists 4 other children, although the birthdates are confusing. They are Daniel, b. 1801, Eliza, b. 1802, Sarah, b. 1806 and Leonard, b. 1809.
